Beef Process Solutions is a consulting company that specializes in improving production operations for bovine processors. My goal is to guide and support these businesses. I can assist plants from 1 to 200 head of beef per day.

My name is Charlie Beirne and I am delighted to have the opportunity to introduce myself. I am a highly skilled industrial meat cutter and an accomplished Operations Manager with more than a decade of experience in the meat industry, including 7 years in the field of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.

Having been fortunate enough to work in the meat industry in both Europe and North America, my unwavering passion for beef processing has been a driving force behind my pursuit of continuous professional growth and development. With every opportunity, I strive to expand my knowledge and expertise in the field, allowing me to leverage my considerable skills in butchery and lean manufacturing to optimize production processes, enhance efficiency, maximize profitability and cut costs where needed.

Breaking down a beef carcass is a crucial process in beef processing plants and doing it correctly from the get go is essential for maximizing profitability and efficiency. The correct breakdown of the carcass will also lead to a higher yield of usable meat and a reduction in waste and unusable trim, which can result in significant cost savings for the processing plant. Additionally, properly breaking down a carcass ensures that the quality of the meat is maintained and that each cut is used for its intended purpose, which can improve the overall customer satisfaction and demand for the product.
